Seriously, these bags under my eyes are eternal.
Does anyone else ever get bored and play around with makeup or is that just me? Recently I haven’t been able to get over the NYX Ultimate Brights Eyedhadow palette – one of the best value palettes around working out at £1 a shade and so pigmented, I can’t get enough of it.
I’ve really been into two-tone eyeshadow looks and doing something a little out of the ordinary – in one of my creative moods, I accidentally created a Harley Quinn meets Wednesday Addams kind of look. A little bit colourful, a little bit goth and a whole lot of me in one look.

I’m genuinely impressed at how well these gems stayed stuck to my face. I use the term “stuck” loosely – I dabbed a couple of dots of foundation under my eyes and added the gems to that and they stayed on for the entire day which I wasn’t expecting. Normally I use really low quality nail glue – yes I know that’s a bad idea but it works so don’t judge me.
I’m absolutely loving having colour back in my hair again! I forgot what the upkeep was like but it’s totally worth it. I’ve been using a combination of Directions and Herman’s dyes – I custom-mix my colours to get the exact shades I want as it’s so hard to find the right pinks or blues that I love.
Shout out to my newest piercing too, which is my philtrum (lip). I might do an updated piercings post soon on piercings, costs and experiences – comment if you’d be interested in that!
