Crying but your tears are snowflakes | Snowflake Makeup Look

Snowflake Makeup full face look

I love a good experimental morning when it comes to makeup.

The inspiration for this look comes from one of my favourite artists, Guardin. He’s got a song out called Snowflakes with the lyric “crying but your tears are snowflakes”. Since I heard it it’s stuck with me and I knew I wanted to do something with it. That ended up being this snowflake makeup look.

I pretty much made this up on the spot – the only thing I really knew for sure I wanted to do was the snowflakes themselves.

As it turns out, snowflakes might look easy to draw but for someone like myself with zero artistic talent, I still managed to screw them up a bit. But you know what they say, all snowflakes are unique, so I guess they’re still perfect in their own way! Or at least that’s the excuse I’m using.

I ended up letting my brain run wild, so I did blue glittery eyebrows, blue eyes with metallic blue liner on my left eye and royal blue and glittery graphic eyeliner on my right eye.

I had a blue contour with icy highlight (that didn’t really show up in photos) and my lips were the same royal blue and metallic blue.

Jeffree Star’s Blue Velvet is my all time favourite lipstick and it’s made an appearance once again! Seriously, bury me in that shade.
