Yesterday I was lucky enough to get the chance to go to LondonEdge in Kensington! LondonEdge is a trade show for alternative fashion and pin-up brands and it’s an absolutely amazing place. There were so many of my favourite brands there that I got to speak to and see new collections from, and a load of brands I didn’t know but fell in love with instantly! This was the first LondonEdge I’ve been to but I can 100% see myself going to more in the future as it’s the perfect place for people with similar fashion tastes to see what’s coming up in the alternative fashion world. I never even knew there were fashion shows celebrating alternative fashion but I’m so glad I found it.
This is going to be a very picture-heavy post so if you’re not into that, be warned!
I had such a great time at the show! There was a bloggers’ seminar held by Sophie Hannah Richardson, Vintageena and Honey Pop which was amazing to watch and really interesting too! It was also great to just be able to walk around chatting to brands about their new collections and discover new loves.
Tallulah’s Threads were one of my favourite discoveries of the weekend, with some truly gorgeous shirts and dresses that I need to add to my wardrobe. I’m already blissfully aware of The Ragged Priest as a brand I love and the new range is so sick! Can’t wait to pick some of it up. I also thought the Erstwilder jewellery stand was adorable – so many pretty, kitsch pieces!
There are a bunch of new brands I’ll definitely be checking out as well as collections from some of my existing favourite brands! Take a look at some of the photos I got from the LondonEdge 2016 below.
